It's a twister

Didn't know that my step-dads step-son (no relation to me) even lived in the area of Wisconsin that got hit by the tornados the other day.

We probably have in the neighborhood of $100,000 damage to the house, largest share in window and art glass in the windows. The roof will probably need to be stripped down to the sheathing to check for damage and then totally reshingled. Our floor will need refinishing after the exterior is re-finished. We also need new deck railing all around, new deck furniture (have found less than half of the furniture) and a new grill. Our screened porch needs one new post and a spindle and new screening. Then we have quite a bit of yard work. I don’t know how long it will take to get all of the glass out of the grass! Finding lost of my neighbors houses in my yard. Mostly kids toys from about ¾ mile away, some flooring and other interior touches. |
In the pictures you can see actual boards (flying debris) sticking out of the roof.
